This list is in no particular order. Where you start depends on your personal goals. My suggestion is to pray that the Lord will lead you to the verse, passage or book of the Bible that He desires. If you are ever confused about a particular part of the Bible, pray to the Lord for understanding and discernment.
Acts 3:19 "Repent, then turn to God so that your SINS may be wiped away,
that times of refreshing may come from the Lord."
When Christians refer to the “Gospel” they are referring to the “good news” that Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty for our sin, so that we might become the children of God through faith alone, in Christ alone.
In short, “the Gospel” is the sum total of the saving truth as God has communicated it to lost humanity as it is revealed in the person of His Son and in the Holy Scriptures, the Bible. Unfortunately, there are many false gospels and distorted salvation truths.
That makes this subject most important.
In fact, there is not a close second to the study of the biblical plan of salvation.
Though the term salvation can be used in different ways, here it refers to deliverance from damnation in the fires of hell.
This is the only way this important term will be used in this teaching.
Jesus and The Plan of Salvation
Regarding salvation (or the plan of salvation) Jesus pointed people to himself with the following vital conditions attached:
Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels” (Luke 9:23-26).
The important fact to know is how to receive this gift. Doesn't every act of giving require a giver and a receiver? God, the Giver, holds out the gift to everyone. It is not His will that any should perish (see 2 Peter 3:9). But to receive a gift requires that we agree to a need. We must agree as the spirit of God shows us that we are, indeed, sinful creatures in need of God's forgiveness and grace. "Unless you repent, you will likewise perish" (Luke 13:3).Repentance means to change our mind, to turn. We must change our mind about our condition and our direction away from God. And turn to Him.
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12).
We receive Christ by an ingenious method that only God could devise. It is not by works, because our abilities would vary and everyone would not have an equal chance. It is an opportunity that is equal regardless of intelligence, sex, age, race, social status, or wealth. It is by faith.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith: and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God: Not as a result of works, that no one should boast" (Ephesians 2:8,9).
To receive Christ, we must acknowledge our need and who He is. Then we simply turn to Him by faith and put our trust and reliance in Him. We receive Him by invitation. Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me" (Revelation 3:20).
Do you want to be born again, right now?
Do you want a new nature?
Do you want to receive the most wonderful gift in the whole universe, the life of Christ Himself?
Then simply but sincerely pray:"Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the grave. I invite You into my heart and receive You right now. Thank You for forgiveness. Thank You for a new life. Help me to be what You want me to be and live Your life through me. Amen."
Now What?If you sincerely prayed that prayer, God says that you have new life and that you are a member of His eternal kingdom. He desires close fellowship with you during this life and desires for you even now to live victoriously as a child of the King! Also, since He died for you, He wants you to live for Him.
"And He died for all, that they who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf" (2 Corinthians 5:15).
As we are born again, God immediately implants a new nature within us. Some outward change may be dramatic and instant; some may come gradually. As with any newborn, our new nature needs nurture and growth.Talk to Him frequently. And listen to his voice within you. That's what prayer is. Read and meditate upon His Word, the Bible - another way He speaks to you. Finally, He wants you to fellowship with other believers and be a functioning part of His corporate Body -- so find a Bible-believing church and attend regularly.

Repenting is in the Biblical plan of salvation. You can't get born again without it. In other words, as long as you cleave to the pleasures of sin for a short time (Heb. 11:25) you do not and can not have the salvation which is only found in the Lord Jesus. Anything else is not the true plan of salvation.People who have repented (and become Christians) are described as follows:
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires (Gal. 5:24).
To turn from your wickedness, which is dragging you to hell, and to wisely chose to submissively place Jesus' yoke on yourself to follow and serve him is equated to believing on Jesus. This is also the same as getting born again. When a person is born again, Our Heavenly Father has forgiven all of his sins and you are set free from the sin addictions he was a slave to (John 8:34-36; Rom. 6:22). In particular, it is contact with Jesus' cleansing, precious blood (Rev. 1:5; 1 Pet. 1:19; 1 John 1:7) that brings this new creation (2 Cor. 5:17) miracle about.Getting born again occurs at the point of a trusting-and-submitting faith in Jesus for personal salvation. All 100% of our trust must be in mankind's only Savior, who is Jesus, to have salvation (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; etc.). Again, Jesus must be the focus of our faith. Some others are trusting in Jesus partly and in someone else or some other thing also for their salvation. They also have been dangerously misled.)
Initial salvation refers to the point of getting saved or being born again while final salvation refers to an actual entrance into God's kingdom after physical death.
